Dirty Rice

1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green and red bell pepper
4 cups hot cooked rice
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
Salt and freshly ground black pepper 1/2 tsp. cayenne season to taste

Cook the sausage and ground in a large skillet until browned. Add the vegetables and sauté until soft. Gently fold in the rice and parsley. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.
