The Evolutionarily Diet Thai Cured Shrimp Salad

Thai Cured Shrimp Salad

Ingredients: yield 2

6 oz. Peeled and deveine shrimp jumbo

1/2 english cucumber halved than sliced thin

1 roma tomato quartered sliced thin

1 1/2 small red onion quartered sliced thin

2 tablespoon Fresh Thai basil choped fine

1/2 tablespoon mint choped fine

3 to 4 whole fresh limes squeezed

1 Thai red chilie

1 head butter lettuce

1 tablespoon fish sauce

1 1/2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

Method:

Combine shrimp, basil, mint, Thai red chilie, fish sauce and lime juice and let stand over night for about 24 hours for infusion and cure process.

Once finished prepare salad with tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and separated butter lettuce add shrimp and drizzle 1 1/2 teaspoon olive oil.
